Over time, their chemistry wanes and their relationship deteriorates to the point where he starts violently abusing Jaya. She complains to her parents about it, who don’t help her and tell her to change so she can be a better wife. The set of actions Jaya takes to take a stance and put an end to the suffering comes next. The movie concentrates on what she does for her self-respect knowing that she has no support from anyone.
