Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya Movie OTT Release Date: Born on April 24, 1987, Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who works in Indian cinema. Between 2012 to 2018 he delivered 11 one-after-one box-office hits. He is the son of David Dhawan who is one of the biggest film directors in Indian films. In My Name Is Khan (2010), he started his career working as Karan Johar’s assistant director. In 2012, Johar’s adolescent drama Student of the Year marked the beginning of his acting career. His main performances in the romantic comedy Main Tera Hero (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), the action comedies Dilwale (2015), Dishoom (2016), and Judwaa 2 (2017), the dance movie ABCD 2 (2015), and the drama Sui Dhaaga helped him become well-known (2018).

Dhawan got appreciation and two Filmfare Award nominations for his performances as an assassin in the thriller Badlapur (2015) and a lost man dealing with grief in the drama October (2018). He appeared in Jugjugg Jeeyo after three critical and commercial flops (2022).

We can see Varun Dhawan in the lead role of the movie “Bhediya” along with Kriti Sanon the main actress. The shooting of this movie was finished a couple of months ago. As soon as the movie packed up the trailer was released on October 19, 2022. The theater release date announced in that trailer was 25 November 2022. The OTT release date hasn’t been introduced by the production team yet. We can expect it to be released in Jio Cinema as we see their partnership in the trailer.

Movie Storyline/ Plot

In Arunachal Pradesh, Bhaskar and his cousin Janardhan “Jana” visit a small village as part of a project to rehabilitate the area’s streets. They become friends with two locals who show them around, Jomin and Panda. Bhaskar gets stalked and chewed on by a wolf one evening while in the woods. He is soon taken to the nearby veterinarian, Dr. Anika, by Jana and Jomin. She administers an infusion to Bhaskar after observing the sizable indentation on his behind and his excruciating pain, hoping it will ease his suffering.

The next day, Bhaskar begins to see changes inside himself. Along with being able to communicate with animals, he also has an enhanced sense of smell and hearing. Meanwhile, the local people and tribals are against the idea of cutting down trees in the forests to construct roads and refuse to support them. Bhaskar is successful in winning the youth’s support, and they give the initiative their approval. Soon after, the bodies of two individuals who worked on the project are discovered. They may have been murdered by an animal that attacked and scratched them according to the bite and scratch marks on their bodies. Nobody believes Panda when he claims that a shape-shifting werewolf is responsible for the killings.

Seeing Bhaskar’s undeniably weird way of behaving, Jana suspects that Bhaskar may be the shape-moving werewolf Jana and Jomin secretly acquire some of Bhaskar’s stools to conduct a stool test and find the smell of human bones found in Bhaskar’s stools It is revealed that Bhaskar is indeed the perpetrator of the crimes, as he discloses to them that he has been transforming into a werewolf every night since being bitten by the wolf and that he has no control over it.

They were determined to confine Bhasker in a secret place. However, a local officer overheard them and learned the truth and started threatening to reveal Bhaskar’s name to everyone. The wolf that had bitten Bhaskar then arrives and kills the officer, allowing them to flee. They went to an elderly doctor in search of a remedy for Bhaskar’s illness. He informs them that Bhaskar can only be cured of his transformation by being bitten by the same wolf once more, on a new moon night, in the same location as before.

Bhaskar, together with Jana and Jomin, walks to the forest, wearing protective gear all over his body to save his rear end, where he has to be bitten by the wolf and waits for the wolf to emerge. When the wolf comes, they are surprised to realize that it is none other than Dr. Anika, a shape-shifter herself. She explains that she was bitten by a wolf over a century ago. She has been the forest’s defender ever then, murdering anybody who tried to ruin the forest or its trees. She had bitten Bhaskar with the intent of killing him but had spared him because she sensed kindness within him. She advises him not to fall victim to deforestation and its consequences.

Anika is shot down and arrested by the local police force. Bhaskar transforms into a werewolf and rescues Anika while killing the cops. Anika, on the other hand, falls victim to her injuries and falls from a cliff, leaving Bhaskar heartbroken. He chooses to build the roads around the outside of the forest, leaving the trees alone. In a mid-credits scene, Vicky and Bittu come to meet their tragically missing companion, Jana, who had recently been moved by Stress and has since been remaining far away from them, removing all contacts. They demand Jana’s assistance in uncovering the secret of Street.
